East Tennessee River Valley
Watts Bar Lake is nestled in the rolling mountains of East Tennessee River Valley. There are 771 Miles of shoreline with unlimited coves and islands with natural sand beaches. This 38,000 acres of beauty is an ideal lake for fishing, boating and skiing. Watts Bar Lake is one of the finest Rockfish Lakes in the chain of TVA Lakes. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has stocked Watts Bar with Rockfish (Striped Bass).
For size and fight, few, if any can match these huge fighters. While these fish grow in size, Bass, both large and small mouth, Crappie, Sauger and Catfish have also grown in number providing the kind of fishing anyone could desire. This provides a place where you can catch big fish, from 10-50 pounds, in fresh water.
